Joe, and others, During the last set of threads on Ballistol, I was puzzled by the fact that it seemed hard to get in the US and that overseas dealers were not able to send it. I recently found out why: The basic ingredient of Ballistol is whale oil....and believe it is contraband in the US. Can anyone verify this? jeannie Jeannie Grassi, RPT Associate Editor, Piano Techncians Journal mailto:jgrassi@silverlink.net -----Original Message----- From: owner-pianotech@ptg.org [mailto:owner-pianotech@ptg.org]On Behalf Of Joe & Penny Goss Sent: Saturday, October 27, 2001 7:41 AM To: pianotech@ptg.org Subject: Re: Ballistol Hi Ron, Rogerio, Ron, It may be your end.
