Ballistol

Joe, and others,
During the last set of threads on Ballistol, I was puzzled by the fact that
it seemed hard to get in the US and that overseas dealers were not able to
send it. I recently found out why: The basic ingredient of Ballistol is
whale oil....and believe it is contraband in the US. Can anyone verify
this?
