Leo, The Verituner recommends tuning A1 through 6 and both strings at the bass tenor break and then tuning the first pass starting point is now recommended A 3 to the top and G# to the bottom. All through this first pass the tuner is munching away on the numbers so that on the second pass the tuner is really packed with the best information for that instrument. The user can adjust to their preference the type of stretch but so far the "average" gets it there for me. I do not like the "clean" at all but thats just me!
