Quality Hide glue does not stink!!!!!  If yours does?, get some from Schaff
or Pianotek.  CA is not the appropriate glue for backcheck leather.  It
will need to be replaced in the future.  Hide glue will soften easily for
removal of old leather.  Check the archives on Hide glue...
