Bouncing hammers

I guess I did not explain the procedure enough. It is not while holding the
note after you play it. I have a feeling that I will have difficulty
describing this but here goes.
I don't know the particular term that this pianist used for showing me this
problem, but it is when he plays these really quick double hand staccato
arpeggios over and over that there is no time for checking and the hammer
sometimes cheats. It hits the note twice by bouncing back.
The example that he showed me was to just strike the note like a blow on
the key to set the pin but releasing it immediately staccato style.

I hope that makes sense.

As far as the pinning David, I did mention that the pinning was ok (4 to 6
swings).
