  But now comes the big question. This person is advertising he is a =
former=20
  president and thus presumably a former member of the PTG. Since he is =
clearly=20
  stating he is a former member of the PTG, can the PTG legally stop him =
from=20
  advertising as such.=20

  Any legal minds out there want to answer this?=20

  I've only had one conversation with this fellow; he never told me that =
he wasn't in the PTG anymore. I assumed he still was. He spoke with a =
salesperson at my store
  and he told her of his association with the PTG, but didn't tell her =
that he wasn't a member anymore. The thing is, by advertising that he =
was a former president of the PTG, the assumption is that he is still a =
member. The general public isn't aware of the significance of the =
initials RPT. =20
  I had always assumed he was a member, and when the database said there =
was no member by that name, I was surprised.
  In other words Wim, he's not exactly saying he's a former member, just =
a former president.
