stability of pitch raises (Ron's question)

It's like mowing grass. If the grass is left grow 3ft tall ...bush-whack it
first, ball park it, then the regular mow. It's an analogy I find extremely
to the point with customers who have left the instruments unserviced for
years.  They get the point there's more work involved..and more importantly
it's not going to look like a manicured golf course with one cutting.
