Whereas some piano technicians do wood refinishing (I do), refinishing is an
art in itself. There are many books to choose from that will guide you.
High-end refinishing is not something that will happen the first time
through. I suggest getting a good book, painting with a brush or some other
easy-to-start-with approach (there are many), and practice on other
furniture or sample boards. Most resources that even start to give a good
treatment of this subject are at least a hundred pages long with lots of
pictures, etc. I don't think you will see that happen in this forum. Good
