Oh, INDEED! Esp. since Peterson won't go away, maybe they've actually
built a useable tool, and I would relish this kind of learning

Hi Les,  That would be neat, but are we going to allow for aural adjustment?  
If so, then, the results would be skewed according to the experience of the 
tuner.  I would like to hear conclusions from people that have tried all of 
the machines.  Those people may be pretty rare.  I tried the Peterson and 
thought it was too hard to look at the display.  I used the SAT and RCT quite 
a bit and think the RCT is easier and requires fewer adjustments to achieve 
results I like, perhaps due to it's more extensive sampling capabilities.  
I'm sure others may have had different experiences that I would enjoy hearing.
