Can't speak for other waterborne coatings manufacturers, but PianoLac is =
sprayable with any equipement at any air pressure/volume combination. =
It sprays best with a well adjusted HVLP conversion gun, but excellent =
results have been obtained with a $300 Campbell Hausfield HVLP as well =
as with conventional high pressure guns.

Since PianoLac's viscosity is independent of it's solids content, =
orifice size, needle size, and air pressure are non-critical. It always =
sprays out smooth, with no orange peel or pinholes. Even though it's =
thicker than most lacquers, it atomizes very easily. It even works in a =
$5 Preval touchup sprayer.
