The Piano Action Handbook by Randy Potter lists specs for most Steinway
grands, except the A. But, they are all the same - so perhaps the model A
will be the same also - likely a good starting point anyway.

Key Height: 2-19/32" to 2-5/8"
Sharp Height: key behind sharp should be 1/32" higher than adjacent natural
key.
Hammer Blow: 1-3/4" (except model D is 1-7/8")
Hammer Let-Off: 1/16"
Key Dip: 0.390" (may be up to 0.420")
Back Check Distance: as high as possible, a bit lower in bass
Drop: Let-off plus 1/16" maximum, tighter if possible
