Friends,

I thought some of you may enjoy this. Today I tried to tune a worn out
cutdown upright -- you know -- the kind with the mirror across the top.
Cast into the plate was "Ivers & Pond," but on the fallboard was a decal
that proclaimed, "Kluttz Bros. - America's Most Beautiful Rebuilt
Piano." (SN 13340, puts manufacture at about 1894)

Looked like an ordinary slice 'em dice 'em piano case makeover to me.
Good evidence of Garfield's and new bridle straps. I must say, whoever
these kluttzes [sic] were, they weren't overly blessed with humility.

Regards,
Clyde
