I was fortune enough to be sent there twice, when the Kimball dealership =
was dropped by one retailer and picked up by their competitor. The =
content of the classes changed enough to make it worth while. The 2nd =
trip included Bosendorfer and how Kimball was "incorproating some of the =
things from them. They even had a "Kimballdorfer" there--a Bose with a =
laminated board. R&R was doing soundboard research with it. The demo =
that used the piano was fun. (I'll tell it for a beer at the National in =
Chicago.) What a place for a seminar! Elegance is an understatement. =
Dinner jackets required for evening dining. ( A bottle of wine is =
another fond memory.) Kimball did a lot to put the school on, and Roger =
was a major part of that effort. Thank you, Sir. Your efforts were =
greatly appreciated!
Paul Chick
P.S. BTW Lary Bird has a street named for him, and Al Capone used French =
Lick as a retreat and vacation spot. Many stories...
