I have refinished a number of black pianos. The quickest and most
beautiful job was using Dupoint Products....the same primer and lacquer one
uses on cars and trucks. I'm sure the refinishing "police" will call my hand
but we all can learn a thing or two. If you are interested you may reply and
I will look in my shop for the exact products I use. These products have been
on pianos I refinished 20 years or more and still look beautiful.
