Gordon, I agree with your post, but I'm curious as to your "carelessness with lacquer".  Toxicity is measured by determining the amount needed to kill 50 percent of the recipients.  It's supposed to be 1 pint for lacquer thinner.  I don't mind the smell at all.  That may be why I haven't yet changed to water base.  

So, if it isn't too embarrassing, could we have the details?
