Subject... Grotrian Steinweg Grand model 220 Problem 1 : Jingle-like buzz similar to what you get when one of the hammer rest rail mountingor key stop rail nuts are loose. Only on G3. This action has adjustable rest rail, whippen assist springs, screw adjustable repetition springs, no teflon or plastic parts anywhere. Took me 6 or 7 minutes to hunt it down. Problem 2 : Nasty squeek when using either the middle or right pedal, only once in a while when using the left pedal. Took 2 or 3 minutes to hunt down. Pedals have felt inserts to bush the brass rods, trapwork uses both felt in wood bushings and those plastic in metal, leather on the levers to meet the rods, unknown black cloth type for rod bushings in the lyre, lyre support rods mounted somewhat similiar to S&S grands except the rods were brass. Good luck ! RicB
