Well, I'm not sure, but I would guess the owner got to the retirement age
maybe with some health problems and no one to take over. The young Schaedler
quit a few years ago and this left the older one in charge of the whole
operation. I guess there come a day when the business is just too much to
ask from a person.

But again... just my guess.
