Polyester Finish & Latex Paint

Some good suggestions already.  Polyester is pretty much impervious to
solvents, even acetone.  Just be sure it's really poly...  Be sure to
buff out the finish with some polyester or plastic polish when you're
done.  Don't use that razor blade!  You will be scratching the finish
for sure, and make extra work for yourself.
