First, if they aren't babies, I wouldn't try picking them up, but spinets are easy - all you have to do is spin it. -If the name ends with a consonant, i, o or u - male -If it ends with a or e - female. -If the name is hypenated - female. -If it is hyphenated but ends with a consonent, i ,o, or u - it has an identity crisis, and you should let it tell you itself. -If it ends with a y - it could swing either way - or both simultaneously.
