silicone lube

    Hello All:
I have used the Baldwin recipe for bushing lube of 7:1 for 20
years-gallons of the stuff. My experience: equally as effective and long
lasting as Protek, and much less expensive. VM and P naptha is perfectly
fine, leaves no residue and is available anywhere in quarts and gallons.
Any paint store, hardware or home center will have it. Now the silicone is
a bit harder to find, although someone mentioned a copy machine service
center. Havn't tried them yet. Mike Kurta
