I've never used iron on veneer...do you wet it and iron it to activate the glue? Peel off a backing?

Hi,
www.Woodcraft.com is a great soure for veneer as well as other products. They have the iron-on as well as the regular that needs glue.I have used both kinds, and I prefer to glue it on,both are made with real wood.
Best,
Hazen Bannister
