The glue can be scraped off as it is very = thick and I don't carry an iron with me. You are left with a strip of = real wood (birch in this case) that measures .025" thick. I bought mine = at the local hardware store/lumber yard. Makes for a good shim material = too when cardboard or paper won't work. When I get a heat gun......
