Hi all

Since we are on the subject of self tuning pianos, does any one remember 
Operknockity (sp)?  For those that don't, this was some super treated piano 
wire that had, I believe, been super frozen to minus something colder than 
St Paul in winter.  This treatment was supposed to condition the wire so 
that it only needed tuning once.  In fact, their moto was "Operknockity only 
tunes once".  It received a lot of hype from the media and was going to 
replace the need for tuning.  Then, it was gone.  Any one ever tune the 
special wire?  Of  course, I was just in diapers at the time and hardly 
remember it.  ;-)
