Hi Patrick, I, when using repair clips, have been tempted to use the repair flanges. They look like they would do a much better job. The downside is, that you would have to remove the full section, and cut out the bad notes. This would be much more labour intensive. There was a class given, in Dearborn, in 1996, about annealing the brass, it was given by a William J. Belamut. It had a one page handout, which I could e-mail, if that is allowed. If too many are gone, I would have a new section made my Schaff. Regards, John M.
