Tuners who use the computer to read this list are far more likely to use electronic tuning tools. But as a new tuner, you need to be wary of learning through an electronic device; your ears need training, and the electronic devices bypass that.

Hi Tom

A recent survey carried out by someone on the list showed 70% electronic. That is of people who answer.

  Hello list,
As an new list member and aspiring tuner, I have one question, (actually many, but one for now). Do most of you tune by ear, or with an electronic tuner, or a combination of both? Thanks,
  Tom
