Patrick;
     Never in 30 years have I ever experimented on a customers piano. I 
always try out 
questionable procedures on junk parts around the shop but thanks anyway. 
     P.S....today I tried 100% denatured alcohol on very sluggest parts from 
old upright parts in the shop. It freed them up in a matter of minutes. I 
lubricated with protec....will check in a few days for final results.
     Notice, again......JUNK PARTS.
