storing CA glue

I just received my first order from Dryburgh. I got it the day after I
ordered it!

Anyway, after gluing a plastic fork to a pencil (the first two things I
could find), I read about storing the glue to avoid having the tip clog.
One suggestion in the literature is to turn it upside down, let the glue
almost come out, and then put the cap on, and store it upside down.

Has that worked for people, and do you have any other suggestions to avoid
clogging the tip?

Thanks,
