Bingo
There is very very little clearence bettween the
spoons
and the lift rod. When the rod bushings were new It
may
have been ok but with a normal 10 years wear on them
they have a little bit of play, and the rail scrapes
the tops of the spoons.
Had not seen this one before.
Perhaps I should I move the rail up 1mm,
plug and redrill for the rod hinges, then rebush,
there a little room to do this
The piano is a Walters upright, havn't seen this one
in Ottawa before. Nice instrument. Great sounding
upright.
Cheers
