Greetings All.
A tip that may help those that rebush keys

After steaming out old bushings, the balance rail hole swells to the point
that they are far too tight. The following method, I have found to
perfectly size the balance rail hole.

Rebush keys and leave the cauls in place for 24hrs to size the bushing cloth.

Using a new polished balance rail pin that has been polished. Use the pin
in a battery operated drill, pump twice through the mortice and balance
rail hole from the top side, (this ensures the hole is parallel with the
bushing cloth.) just a quick burst of the switch, balance rail hole is
perfectly sized. The whole set can be done to perfection in a few minutes.
Takes the guess work out of where the friction problem is happening, the
hole or the bushing cloth.

Hope this will help some.
