Bechstein question

Let's hope it is not in anticipation of the Fourth Reich! Bechstein was, as perhaps you are aware, the official piano of the Third Reich. What year was your Bechstein made? What model is it? Where is this roman numeral on the soundboard located? I have a 1900 model A1. I don't recall seeing any such number, but I have yet to yank the plate.
