I forget who posted what first, and as such who is looking for what =
information, but here is the status from the newbie gallery: 30 minutes =
per pitch raise pass. Average of about an hour per tuning pass.
Not everyone does a pitch raise and tuning in 40 minutes.

When I was learning this trade (early 70s) my brain was "stamped" =
with the=20
notion that you had to allow 90 minutes to 2 hours for a two-pass =
tuning,=20
and the preferred method for pitch raising was to do a 30-minute =
single pass=20
extra sharp, then come back a week later for a normal, rather long =
tuning.=20
How have people gotten so much faster? What's changed?=20
With the use of the SATIII, I can now tune a piano in about 30 - 40 =
minutes. An actual pitch raise I do in about 10 minutes, followed by a =
tuning which takes about 45 - 60 minutes.=20
