You lucky dog! I too would love to have gone into DC but was tied up in Council until it was too late to get near the Mall. Joe is right in another post -- July 4th is a time to be with family and to celebrate the country. I did manage to catch a little suburban display in Vienna with a cousin and his family, and I remember counting myself lucky to have family in the area that year. + + + Now ... does anyone know if we will be given the chance to celebrate the 4th, Texas style?
