Ron I, too, have trouble with higher volumes. I just went through a hearing exam, and was given a sample of "attenuating" ear plugs. They showed me how to insert them and, while I had them in, normal converstion was continued. The ear plugs reduced the volume of all frequencies by about 20db. So, I could still hear normally but with the volume turned down. I use the headphone type in the shop around machinery, but will try these new ones while tuning. I know others on the list use ear plugs.
