Hello Joe, I would disagree that reimbursing an instructor for a room or even travel is compensation. It is not fiscally possible for PTG to compensate our fine volunteer instructors for the untold hours they put into their presentations. At least it is possible to reimburse some of them for some of their expenses though not all. Charles, Yes, it is a good thing, the way the instructors give of themselves, so unselfishly. But, your statement: "....and the teachers don't even get paid!", isn't quite true. Teachers, at all Seminars and Conventions, do get some compensation. Usually Room & a stipend. Sometimes, even travel allowance(s). Is it enough? Not in my opinion! A few years ago, I tried to ease some of the "compensation" problems of the National Convention. There were some small changes made, due to my effort, but NOT enough, IMHO. Just thought you should know. Best Regards, Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon) Squares Need Love Too!<G>
