polyester finish care

I've been recommending the Meguiar's products for years, but it's
sometimes hard to find. Sometimes the auto part stores have it. I
generally find good sources at auto body supply stores, boat stores and
plastics suppliers. Anything good for plexiglas will work well. Cory
produces a very good liquid high gloss cleaner which is easy to use and
available thru the supply catalogs (Pianotek, etc.). In a pinch you
could use Murphy's Oil Soap. Using plain water won't do much, and may
leave the surface dull, and same with Windex. The best advantage to
using the cleaners like Meguiar's is that they are anti-static. The
surface becomes very slick and dust doesn't jump back on after you wipe.
