Being curious...
I decided to check the Yamaha website to check on some of the older Yamaha
studios we have here at the college.
Model P2 #144xxxx (1972) [We have 6 going strong here] comes up:
>Serial Number 144xxxx does NOT appear to be built for the North American
>market.
>For additional information call (800) 854-1569
These were bought here in the US from a dealer here in the US. Can I
assume that calling that number will confirm that fact? How should I, as
any normal peruser of that site, react at what I know to be inaccurate?
#101781, {Michigander?} which I clearly see stamped on the piano as being a
P202, is identified as a M306.
Confusion abounds.
I really hope, for all concerned, that accurate information CAN be obtained.
