Hi list,
I have an old Mehlin grand action I'm working on,and the silk string is on
the whippen is broken. What is the easiest way to repair? It looks like I can
drill it out ,and replace.I am wondering if someone has a better method, and
what do you use to replace the string.I have heard of people using dental
floss,as well as other things, but have never tried it.I ordered a replacement
from Schaff, but have'nt checked it out yet.
Thanks,
Hazen Bannister
