Agreed! But I would wear a face shield, gas mask and
do it in a breeze! Epoxy's stiff, but CA's even
stiffer. I once used it to fill soundboard cracks.  ( 
( Never again!!! Virtually impossible to scrape off
excess !)  But the super thin stuff, in large
qauantities, might soak into a bare wood board very
nicely, and stiffen the Dickens out of it!
     ( Whatever that means. )
