Hi Bill:
I just went out to the car, brought my Genck tool case in and weighed
it. 22lbs! I have had it 12 years and have given it rough use with minimal
care. It has held up remarkably well, and I tell Bruce Genck how much I
like it every time I see him. I keep liquids in small tightly sealed
containers, I've removed the tool pallets because I couldn't get the number
of tools inside I wanted with them in place. (I hate going out to the car
if I don't have to). I keep my SAT in the specially padded compartment so I
would not want a soft sided case. They are not cheap, but I have yet to
have any complaint except the locks failed early on, but I wouldn't use them
anyway. I've found the Genck case to be very high quality, though heavy,
but long lasting and very rugged.
