Here's a new link. I have rebuilt the site so that it reads better on a Mac, loads way quicker (gets only the charts you click on)... still working on the thumbnails but you Mac users will find this link better.

Subject: New images website

| Greetings, list. Announcing the new rollingball web page with updated graphics of temperaments. This contains 75+ temperaments grouped into categories Pythagorean, Meantone, Modified Meantone, Well, Victorian Well, Quasi-Equal, Equal, and Modern Well.

| CAVEATs and WARNINGs:
| This is a single page that contains over 4 MB of data, so if you have a slow connection you might want to go to lunch. (It took one of my colleagues 45 minutes to load.) If you have a DSL or cable modem, it will take less than 10 minutes. Then (if you have Internet Explorer) you can click "Add to favorites" and in that dialog box, click "Make available offline" ... this will store everything on your computer to speed it all up after the first download. However, I will be updating the page regularly in the near future until I am satisfied with it, so your first download will shortly be outdated. I do not know if your subsequent downloads will update only the changed stuff or force you to download the whole honking thing again, sorry.
| Personally I think the charts are so beautiful and enlightening that I want to make them available asap while I continue to refine the website.
| If you are working on a Mac, the page will not display quite right. I am dual platform myself, and love the Mac, but the functionality of how I have built this page seems to work far, far better on a PC. I'm working on this too, but frankly the world is leaving the Mac behind.
| I have NOT yet updated the PDF file, but I will. I am also working on alternative ways of building the page so that you can just go where you want without having to download everything at once. And, once Owen Jorgensen has released his interpretation of EBVT, I will add a section on EBVT.
| Feedback is more than welcome.
