A question about treble strings

All,
I like to make sure I have enough wire, for the next job. So, I have a
"postal scale" that I can set for the weight of the canister/holder/tag.
Then, after each restringing, I weigh each canister to see how much is left
in the derned thing. If I have less than a 1/2 pound left, then it is time
to order that size. (I really hate it when I'm in the middle of the chaos of
stringing, to run out of wire! <G>)
