    If you're paying $12,000 for a rebuildable Steinway M, what are you =
able to sell if for after you've rebuilt it? A total rebuild, including =
finish, new board, block, strings, etc., will be in the $15 - 20,000 =
range. That would put the selling price about $25 - $30,000. A brand new =
M can be bought for that figure.=20

             Hey Wim
            New M's list at 42K so How do you figure?
           Dale=20

Yes, Dale, the "list" is 42K. And one might even have sold for that =
during the *.com heyday--but, today? I doubt it would be too difficult =
to find one for $30K, and perhaps a bit less on a good day. Or a bad =
day, depending on your perspective.
