Elementary classroom piano suggestions

Many years ago I was told that for a performer to see the audience and vice versa, you'd have to use a grand or a spinet.  The same source said that the Baldwin Acrosonic was one of the few spinets that would stand up to that kind of use.  Finding a used Acro in good condition and well maintained may not be easy, but they bring a premium price around here.  Terrible decision to have to make at any rate.
