If you are driving East on I-44 (from Oklahoma), take Joplin exit 6 and go

If you are driving West on I-44 (from Springfield), take Joplin exit 15,
and continue West on Route 66 (also known as 7th Street). At Main Street,
turn north and go about 18 blocks (approximately 1 mile). You will see OCC
on your right (East).

If you are driving South on Highway 71 (from Kansas City), when you get to
Carthage, take the Central Ave. exit, and turn West (right) and take
Business 71 through Webb City into Joplin. You will go past the Joplin
Municipal Airport on your right. At Main Street, go south on Main Street
approximately 2-1/2 miles. You will see OCC on your left (East)

If you are driving North on Highway 71 (from Arkansas), come into Joplin
and go north to 7th Street (Route 66). Go West (turn left) on 7th Street
about 2 miles to Main Street, and go north about 1 mile to OCC. You will
see OCC on your right (East).

The 4 attached files are maps that show where OCC is located. Also, OCC
has a web-page with lots of info. http://occ.edu/

part of the map. The seminar will be held on the second floor of the
cafeteria building in one of the banquet rooms. There is lots of parking
around the cafeteria and the Multi-Purpose building.

is a minister and will be leading a short devotional time on Sunday
morning. This is going to be an optional, non-denominational religious

Saturday, October 19
8:30 am Registration

8:30 am - 3:00 pm	Grand Regulation

The time will be structured fairly well, but if you have a specific
technical question, please feel free to speak up. There is time on
Saturday evening to cover any questions that you might have. Also, there
will be plenty of time at the breaks and meal periods to talk with other
technicians about anything that is on your mind.

6. Meals/Snacks/Restaurants

The cost of meals is not included in the cost of the seminar. The OCC
cafeteria has good food at a reasonable price ($4.50 per meal). The OCC
cafeteria will be open on Saturday morning, noon, and evening, and on
Sunday evening. The cafeteria is closed Sunday morning and noon, so those
meals will be on your own. I am not opposed to traveling as a group to a
local restaurant for Sunday noon meal, but nothing is planned at this
time. Of course, there are numerous restaurants in Joplin if you wish.

There will be a several breaks throughout the day, and there will be some
things to nibble on for snacks, but nothing elaborate.
