Kawaii Finish

Dear Fran,

You need to know if it is a lacquer finish, or a polyester 
finish.  Polyester finish repair takes a completely different approach 
compared to lacquer finish repair.

Also, if it is a new piano, the finish may still be under warranty.  Don't 
do anything until you contact Kawai.  The dealer or manufacturer needs to 
be "in the loop" if it involves a warranty.
