Introducing the birth of the Equal Beating Koval "mini" (EBKM) temperament.
I created this for those people wondering what is a good "starting"
temperament. I had been suggesting the Moore, but decided to take the time
to create something especially for the 'first time'.

With that in mind, I decided to keep the maximum offset from ET at 1.5
cents, and keep any fifths from being too noisy. This leads to a mild
well-temperament with the major thirds ranging from 11.6 cents from pure to
15.5 cents from pure. I then "tweaked" the numbers to create the maximum
equal beating effects. Variety of color, created to fly "under the radar"
and be used as an ET substitute on a regular basis.

offsets from equal temperament:

C 1.5
C# -.2
D .5
D# .9
E -.6
F 1.4
F# -.8
G 1
G# .4
A 0
A# 1
B -.3

Realize, of course, with offsets this small, you've got to get pretty close
(like ET) to get the proper effect.

This is "freeware", use and distribute as you wish.
