hi there i was in a similar spot a year ago. fortunate for me the list said not to try the first repair on my own and not on the customers piano. so i got a friend who was very good to help me and you know how it is to actually see how the job is done is so much better than reading about it. after that i think i do a better job of the repair. so if you can get an experinced person to show you. don't practise on the customers piano. that's what i learned wayne
