1873 Steinway Square Grand

I would think that several ounces of CA glue are
called for here, for starters.
     I have heard that Steinway's men threatened to go
on strike when he proposed they build regular
"Fluegel", (wing-shaped) grands in addition to
squares.  The squares continued into the 1890's, I
think.
     "Tradition".
