Any objection to changing the head so a regular sort of wrench can take it
apart? Not all techs have the oval head and it is a cause of second trips. I
find a rushed or frustrated technician is the cause of most poor or damaging
work to the piano.

Keith,
IMO, anyone who is anticipating working on a square, should have the PROPER
tools at hand. The appointment was made to work on a square, so anticipation
of the odd problems should be in the fore-front of the cerebellum. This goes
back to "the proper tool for the job". It is not a huge outlay to have all
of the proper tools required, compared to other fields of "service".
Best Regards,
