Anyone got any bright ideas on how to get a bass bridge off a 1960's model 0 - whole soundboard & bridge areas have been "drowned" in lacquer at factory - Hamburg - now buzzes from the bridge big time - have tried all the usual remedies and the only thing left is to take off the bridge and re-set it - have taken out the screws from underneath and broken the "seal" around the bridge and am getting a lot of creaks and movement but cant get the bridge to pop off and you would with an older piano stuck to-gether with hide glue - heaven alone knows what they used on this. I am afraid that it will pull up part of the soundboard if I am too over enthusiastic. What say you good people ? Many thanks _________________________________________________________________ It's fast, it's easy and it's free. Get MSN Messenger today! http://www.msn.co.uk/messenger
