Muting Pattern

Corte,
The only time I tune unisons as I go is when I'm doing a pitch
raise, but I still strip the whole piano. This may not work with the
Verituner, I'm not real familiar with it.
In the tenor I tune the left string of one note, then right
string of the next, pull the felt from between and tune the unisons. In
the treble I tune center, left, then next note up center, pull felt,
left, then the right string on the preceding note.

I would like to try switching to tuning unisons as I go. Can someone
experienced in this tell me their technique in moving the mutes around
(since strip muting is no longer an option with this method)?

Thanks,
